CONOCE EL TEMOR DE DIOS, CONOCE A DIOS: DE QUE SE TRATE LA VIDA
After Solomon had tried ever pleasure he desired, possessed everything
he wanted, and pursued higher learning, he came to the conclusion that
life is meaningless without God. He came to realize that the best life
possible comes only to the person who fears God and obeys His commands.
If you want to find true meaning and lasting joy in life, the answer is simple: just fear God!

CONOCE EL TEMOR DE DIOS, CONOCE A DIOS: NO JUEGUES CON FUEGO
Can
you imagine coming to a worship service and winding up dead? That is
exactly what happened to two young men, Nadab and Abihu, who were
priests unto the Lord. They offered unto God a strange fire, and the
fire of the Lord came forth and consumed them, and they died. The reason
is that they did not fear the Lord.
This story is intended to impress upon us the holiness of God. It teaches us that we be careful to come before God on His terms, not our terms. We cannot treat God lightly. It is intended to instill the fear of the Lord upon our hearts.

CONOCE EL TEMOR DE DIOS, CONOCE A DIOS: FACTOR
MIEDO
There is no
fear of God in society today, and there is no fear of God among many in
the church today (Rom. 3:18), and that is why sin and immorality is
rampant. God is loving, gracious and merciful, but He is also holy,
righteous and just. He hates sin, and He must judge sin.
God is holy. He is the most High One, who sits upon the throne of the universe. He is all powerful, and He is able to end our existence with one word, or condemn us to an eternity in hell, and for this reason He is to be feared.
The encounter at Mt. Sinai was intended to instill the fear of God in Israel's hearts and in our hearts as well.

Instead of following the
world, or walking like the unsaved, Paul tells us in Eph. 5:1, that we
need to follow God. Paul's aim in this passage is to help believers
integrate who we are as Christians, who have received new life, with how
we live.

WEDNESDAY SERIES
Like Peter, we often deny Jesus by not opening our mouths; by not
speaking up for him; by remaining silent.
Jesus has commanded us to go and share the good news with everyone, and yet we often commit the sin of silence. As we consider Peter’s failure, it helps us to understand why we so often struggle to share our faith, and we will learn how to overcome.

God appeared to Gideon while he was hiding in fear and called him to
be the deliver of Israel. Outnumbered
and overwhelmed, God guaranteed
the success, not because of who Gideon was, or any ability He had, but
because God would be with him, and anoint Him for the task.
The same Spirit that anointed Gideon, is the same Spirit that empowers the church today to enable us the fulfill the mission God has given us.

UNA NUEVA VIDA, UN NUEVO CAMINAR: ¡DÉTENGASE LADRÓN!
We can quickly tune out and say “a message on stealing” this does not apply to me,
but we need to
remember that Paul is writing to Christians. He is telling church members to stop stealing.
There are more subtle forms of stealing than robbery, embezzlement or shoplifting. We need to be aware of the wide scope of activities considered as stealing in God’s Word, and how subtly it can infiltrate our lives. Paul says that stealing in shape or form is incompatible with life in Christ. It belongs to the old life, and we must strip it away. The Christian life must be focused not on taking, but on working hard and giving.
