PASIÓN: PASIÓN POR DISCIPULADO
There were quite a number of people
who considered themselves disciples of Jesus because they followed Him
from place to place where He ministered. But from among that larger
group, Jesus called 12, and the reasons for which He chose these 12,
demonstrate what it truly means to be a follower of Christ. If we would
truly follow Christ, we must be passionate about discipleship.

PASIÓN: PASIÓN POR SU PUEBLO
Jesus had multitudes who followed
Him, but He called twelve to be His disciples. They lived together with
Jesus and were an integral part of each others' lives. Unlike the
multitudes, these twelve grew spiritually, and made a great impact in
the world for Christ.
Like the disciples, when you live together in close proximity with others over an extended period of time, there are going to be disagreements, disappointments and hurts. This is all a part of God's plan. It is a part of His perfecting process to help us grow into the full measure of the stature of Christ.

PASIÓN: PASIÓN POR LA CASA DEL SEÑOR
Anybody can be passionate
about something for a day, a month, a year, etc., but Jesus was
passionate from the beginning of His life to the end. He was passionate
about His relationship with His Father, and He was passionate about His
Father's House.
The goal of the Christian life is to be like Jesus, that means that our goal must be to passionately in love with the Father, and passionate about the Father's House as well.

OREN 2016: DOMANDO AL LEON 101
This chapter ends with the story
of Daniel and the Lion's Den, which stands as a reminder of the
spiritual battle raging all around us. 1 Peter 5:8 describes the devil
himself as a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Satan has an
army of supporters, whom he uses to do his will. In Daniel’s case, Satan
used the governors and rulers who tried to trap and kill Daniel with a
30-day law forbidding prayer to any god, except the King.
Daniel refused to allow this law or its consequences to stop him from praying, As a result, he was arrested and thrown into the lions den, but that night, God sent an angel to shut the mouths of the lions, and miraculously delivered Daniel. Daniel didn’t pray because he was facing the lions den, but because he prayed, God delivered him from the lions den.
Daniel's story teaches us some very important truths about prayer that will release the power of God in our lives and the world today.

PRAY 2016: ARRESTED BY PRAYER (DAN. 6:10)

CAPTURADO POR LA ORACIÓN
I read of an 85 year old man who was arrested for praying in his own house. Anyone familiar with that case? A federal law had been issued, making it illegal for anyone to pray to God, but where the law of man and the law of God conflict, we must obey God. So this 85 year old man, continued to pray as he had always done and he ended up being arrested and having a severe sentence imposed upon him. His case was not reported by the news media, but the account of his arrest can be read in Dan 6:10.
Today, we want to look at how Daniel overcame the enemies attempt to stop him from praying, so that we too might prevail in prayer, and so that we can prevail through prayer.

CONOCE EL TEMOR DE DIOS, CONOCE A DIOS: VIVIR SIN EL TEMOR DEL SEÑOR
Proverbs 1:7 describes those who do not fear the Lord as fools, because they lack knowledge, and despise wisdom and instruction. The fool in the book of Proverbs is not someone with a low IQ, or a lack of education. Some people have very little education but they have great wisdom, because they honor God and recognize the authority of the Word of God in their life. Some people have the highest IQ on earth but their lives are a mess. The fool is someone who does not fear God, who lives in disregard of God, who denies God, if not in word, certainly in action.
This message considers some of the characteristics and consequences of not fearing God.
