One moment, Peter’s faith rose to greatness, and the next it sank to littleness. Our faith is much the same. It is a mix of confident assurance in God and doubt. Let’s look at the Testimony of Little Faith so that we might see its faults and its foolishness so that no matter how little or weak our faith may be at times, we may be helped, strengthened and encouraged.

In the midst of a deadly storm, fearing for their lives, Jesus came to His disciples, walking on the water.. However, while they recognized Jesus on land, they mistook Him for a phantom on the water. They missed out on the comfort, peace, joy and safety, that His presence brings, all because they failed to recognize Him, believing instead that He was a phantom.. Sometimes the storm fills us with fear, and causes us to doubt whether He is real after all, a thought that terrorizes our soul all the more.
Through this message, I pray that the Holy Spirit would anoint our eyes that we might see Christ near to us at all times

There is such a wealth of truth of about Jesus int his passage. He is the present Jesus, who is among His people when they gather to worship. He is the loving Jesus, who is moved with compassion by the suffering and affliction of His people, and has come to save, heal and deliver. And He is the angry Jesus...wait a minute, angry? That doesn’t fit with our idea of Jesus, who is loving, kind, compassionate, meek and humble.
Yet, in this passage He described as angry, and He got angry in a house of worship, a synagogue, a church, so to speak. What could have provoked such a response from Jesus? As we consider what made Jesus angry among church goers, may we be challenged to evaluate our own hearts.
