HOW TO GET TO KNOW YOURSELF (PSALM 19:12-13)
Tuesday Jun 25, 2019
Tuesday Jun 25, 2019
Pastor Ana Lopez
We all have hidden faults. We have weaknesses and flaws that we can't see, and are inside us and they can show up unexpectedly and hurt our relationship with God and others. We have blind spots. We may not recognize some weaknesses in us, but they are there, and they are no secret to God. David prayed for God to show him his hidden faults. David prayed, "cleanse me from these hidden faults". We are going to look at principles that we can learn from David's prayer as we look at How We Can Get To Know Ourselves.

CONEXIÓN: VIVA PARA LO QUE REALMENTE IMPORTA
(Marcos 12:28-34)
Pastor Maria Khaleel
To God, what matters most is our relationship with Him, and with others. If that is what matters most to God, then it stands to reason that it should matter most to us. We are probably thinking, we already know that, tell us something new. The problem is that knowing and doing are not equal. While we know and believe that these two commandments are most important because Jesus said so, our life does not always reflect that these two commandments are our priorities.
Before we get into how to live out relationship with God and others as our priority, we want to consider some of the challenges, that hinder us from keeping these 2 commands.

¡MIRAME PAPÁ!
Pastor Maria Khaleel
Whether it is dancing, popping a wheelie, jumping off a ledge, riding a bike with no hands, or a myriad of other feats, children regularly cry: “Look at me, daddy, look at me.” It expresses an important need – children crave the attention of their fathers.
Jesus, the Son of God, had the best Father ever, and He wants us to know Him as such too, so He introduced God to us as a loving, personal, and intimate Father who cares deeply for his children. In these verses, Jesus paints for us a beautiful picture of our heavenly Father. Jesus wants us to see how our Heavenly Father feels about us, and it is an example to help men to be the father’s God calls them to be. Jesus uses vivid imagery to show us several aspects of the Father’s incredible love for us.

CONEXIÓN: LO MÁS IMPORTANTE DE LA VIDA
Pastor Maria Khaleel
Jesus said “the most important commandment is this...Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
Jesus’ simple words, reveal the value that God places on relationships.
As we contemplate the words of Jesus, it teaches us some very important lessons about relationships.

Pastor Maria Khaleel
Psalm 37:23 says, “The LORD directs the steps of the godly.” Steps are significant, because steps take you through the process. Steps help you to make progress. Steps bring you to the fulfillment of what you are destined to possess. God has ordained the pathway to your destiny. He has a set of steps that will lead you to your purpose. We must choose to walk in those steps.
