Frustration is the natural by-product of futility – perhaps that's why we see so many frustrated people today, exploding in anger in domestic violence, road rage, and mass shootings. One of the greatest frustrations of life is that there is no amount of money, no pleasure, no relationship, absolutely nothing that can satisfy, apart from God. When the human heart begins to realize the meaninglessness of life apart from God, hopelessness envelops the soul, and people who see no hope become frustrated – they are depressed, angry, and stressed. True meaning and lasting joy can only be found in relationship with God through Christ.
