Pastor Maria Khaleel
Many have sacrificed real relationships at the altar of virtual relationships, because it is much more convenient. Real relationships are messy, take time and energy, and have the potential to disappoint or hurt us. But we cannot truly enjoy life and fulfill God’s will for our lives without investing in relationships. God tells us that we need each other. That life lived together is better, more rewarding and more fruitful than life lived alone.
We need to invest in relationships because they provide companionship to share life’s journey together which gives life fulfillment and meaning, and it will inevitably include walking together with someone through the hard times of life, to receive and give the encouragement and support that we all need. This passage teaches us some very important truths about building friendships.
