The word church comes from a Greek word which means called out ones. God’s calling in our life goes beyond just going to a building to perform religious activities. Being the church, the called out ones, is about who we are as the people of God, living under the grace of God, through the power of the Spirit, demonstrating how good life is under our King, the Lord Jesus.

God has called each and everyone of us. This is what gives meaning to our life. It is what gives us focus and direction, and it is what brings joy and fulfillment. God has called each one of us and His call involves three factors: We are called out of darkness. We are called into His marvelous light, and we are called to show the world God’s goodness.
