We Need the Supernatural In Our Lives (John 6:16-21)
Tuesday Jul 23, 2019
Tuesday Jul 23, 2019
Pastor Ana Lopez
Jesus didn't bring a nice, make me feel good religion to earth. He brought the reality of the supernatural Kingdom of God. In the Kingdom of God, miracles happen, sickness is overcome, and storms obey the voice of God. Most believers live in an earthly, natural, and intellectual Christianity, where all they have is nice words and promises of God. But God wants us to invite and rely on His life-changing power that heals and operates in the supernatural. Let's look at the reasons why we don't ask the Supernatural in our lives.

UNA COSA QUE PUEDE CAMBIAR TODO: UNA COSA QUE SÉ (JUAN 9:25)
Pastor Maria Khaleel
The man who had been blind but now was able to see, knew one thing that enabled him to stand strong and withstand every attack and argument of the enemy, and bring glory to God – he knew that Jesus had touched him, and now he could see.
A faith that is grounded in knowing that Jesus has touched our life and we are changed, is a faith that is able to stand strong and withstand every attack and argument of the enemy. This man’s story teaches us about the kind of faith that can withstand every attack and argument of the enemy and bring glory to God.

MILAGROS TODAVIA SUCEDEN: ¡HABLA LA PALABRA SOLAMENTE!
Pastor Maria Khaleel
As Jesus was on his way to heal a Roman centurion’s servant, the centurion sent a message saying, you don’t have to trouble yourself to come, for I am not worthy that you come under my roof, just speak the word only, and my servant will be healed. The centurion understood something about Jesus authority, that the Jews did not understand. Jesus response was in direct proportion to the man’s faith, Mt 8:13 says “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would,” and his servant was healed that moment.
I pray the New Year will bring joy and blessings to all, but it may also hold many occasions in which we will need Jesus’ help, in which we will need a miracle, and we need to have the faith to know that Jesus can just speak the word in 2019, whatever we are facing, and it will be done. How can we have this kind of faith, the kind of faith the centurion had? This story provides us with three encouragements to our faith in the New Year.

MILAGROS TODAVIA SUCEDEN: ¡ÉL SE PREOCUPA POR TI! (MARCOS 10:46-52)
Pastor Maria Khaleel
Jesus is on His way to Jerusalem. It is the last week of His life. In just a few days, He would be hung upon a cross as a sacrifice for the sins of the world. Yet, even as He is on the way to save the world, He stops for a poor blind beggar. He stops for an insignificant nobody by the worlds measure, but a life that is precious and valuable to Him – oh, how great is His love and compassion.
Perhaps some might feel like Bartimeaus – insignificant, forgotten, trapped by circumstances. I have good news for you today – the Lord loves you, and He is never too busy for you! He cares about you, and what you are going through, and here in His presence your life and situation can be completely changed.
As we look at Bartimeaus’ journey to healing that day, it reveals the greatness of the Lord’s love and compassion for each of us that moves Him to act on our behalf.

MILAGROS TODAVIA SUCEDEN
Pastor Maria Khaleel
On the boat that day Jesus spoke personally and specifically to Peter, and His Words became a turning point that would change Peter’s life and circumstances.
Peter responded to Jesus, “Never-the-less, at your word....” Peter’s response made the difference between empty nets and an abundant catch. Peter’s experience shows us the role the Word of God plays in releasing the supernatural power of God in and through our lives.

MILAGROS TODAVIA SUCEDEN: ESTANCADO EN UN BACHE
Pastor Maria Khaleel
Jesus said to Bartimaeus, “Your faith has made you whole,” so he obviously had faith, but where did it come from? We are not told how Bartimaeus came to faith in Jesus as the Messiah. He certainly had never seen a miracle or witnessed Jesus heal anyone. True faith does not need to see to believe. True faith believes and as a result sees God move.
Bartimaeus is a picture of faith for us. His story translates the concept of faith into something concrete for us to look at, and I pray that same faith would be birthed in each of our hearts. As we look at Bartimaeus’ experience, we see several principles of faith

MILAGROS TODAVIA SUCEDEN: LA FE QUE LEVANTA EL TECHO
Pastor Maria Khaleel
Four men came, carrying their friend on a stretcher, to bring him to Jesus, what a powerful example of a real ministry. All they did in getting to Jesus, they didn’t do for themselves. They did for their friend, and through their faith and their efforts, their friend was both saved and healed that day.
Verse 20 says that “Jesus saw their faith.” These four men who brought their paralyzed friend to Jesus, are an example of true faith. What was it that Jesus saw? In this passage, we find 4 characteristics of genuine faith, that Jesus saw and rewarded.

MILAGROS TODAVIA SUCEDEN: ¿QUÉ ES LA FE?
Pastor Maria Khaleel
Faith is essential if we would receive anything from God.
Faith is so vital to our relationship with God and our life that if every pastor preached on faith every sermon, it still would not be too often. The subject of faith needs to spoken of often, explained, and made as clear as possible, because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Rom 10:17).
To discover what faith is, let us look at the example of the man who brought his demon possessed son to Jesus.
