Timothy's mother and grandmother taught him the truth of God's Word from the time that he was a young child. but they not only taught it with their words, they demonstrated it with their lives.
As parents, we need to teach our children the truth of God's Word and
live the truth before them, and so doing it will make and indelible
impression upon them.

In the Story of the Prodigal, the father represents God. And while there are no perfect human fathers, God is our perfect Heavenly Father, and as such, He is the ideal role model of a Father. As we study this story, it reveals several characteristics of the Father-heart of God that ought also be reflected in the heart of every father, as they grow spiritually, to be come more and more like Him.
