UNA NUEVA VIDA, UN NUEVO CAMINAR: ¡DÉTENGASE LADRÓN!
We can quickly tune out and say “a message on stealing” this does not apply to me,
but we need to remember that Paul is writing to Christians. He is telling church members to stop stealing.
There are more subtle forms of stealing than robbery, embezzlement or shoplifting. We need to be aware of the wide scope of activities considered as stealing in God’s Word, and how subtly it can infiltrate our lives. Paul says that stealing in shape or form is incompatible with life in Christ. It belongs to the old life, and we must strip it away. The Christian life must be focused not on taking, but on working hard and giving.

UNA NUEVA VIDA, UN NUEVO CAMINAR: ENÓJENSE SIN PECAR
Paul tells us
that as Christians, the reason we get angry and the way that we express
our anger, must be different than the way the world does. It must be
different than the way we used to get angry before we were saved.

UNA NUEVA VIDA, UN NUEVO CAMINAR: NO MÁS MENTIRAS
Paul tells us that
as the Holy Spirit is at work in our lives transforming and making us
new, we have a responsibility to cooperate with Him. We must put of our
old sinful self or lifestyle, and put on the new life we have received
in Christ. He then proceeds to give several specific examples of what
that will look like in practical everyday terms. At the top of the list,
he says that we must put away lying and speak the truth. This message
explores how that applies to our daily life.

UNA NUEVA VIDA, UN NUEVO CAMINAR: NO TE LO PONGAS
The Christian life
is all about change. The problem is that this change is not
instantaneous or automatic. God is at work in us by the power of His
Spirit to make us more like Christ (2 Cor. 3:18), but we must cooperate
with the work of the Spirit. In this passage, Paul describes this
cooperation in terms of putting off our old self, and putting on the
new.
